Is it the right fit?
Choosing the right photographer is an extremely personal and sometimes stressful decision. Finding someone to capture the special memories and moments in your life are extremely important. There are many factors to consider.
Are they creative? A creative photographer can provide you with the most stunning pictures as they will have the knowledge of which poses or layouts will create the most magical photographs.
Do they pay attention to the details? Along with a creative eye, they should have a strong attention to even the slightest of details. This will ensure that every precious moment, no matter how small, is captured.
Are they patient? Not everything goes according to plan, schedules get delayed or changed so it is important they are patient, calm, and ready to deal with any curveballs thrown their way.
Are they a great communicator? Communicating to their clients in order to provide them with a product their client wants. Speaking up about ideas they may have for certain shots or poses and will also be open to your suggestions, plus listen to you and any concerns you may have.
Cost? You get what you pay for. There will always be new and emerging photographers starting out but finding the right one with experience, the right skills and equipment are key. You can't put a price on memories they are invaluable.
Make sure you give yourself time to research. Check different photographers that you are interested in by viewing their portfolios and see if their creative style matches yours.
Life is made up of little moments, many are simply missed or gone in the blink of an eye. Many times we only get one chance to capture life in just that minute! The right photographer will help you remember them forever. That's why choosing a photographer is so important!
